In 1960, Piaget designed the “Calibre12P”, the thinnest automatic movement in the world, with a thickness of 2.3 mm, as per the Guinness Book of Records.
Piage also makes coin watches, ring watches, brooch watches and cufflink watches.
In 2014, Piaget presented the Altiplano 900P. It is just 3.65 millimeters (about 1/8th of an inch) and is the world’s thinnest hand-wound mechanical watch.
In 1964, Piaget launched their semi-precious watches with dials of: lapis-lazuli, turquoise, onyx and tiger’s eye.
One of Piagets most iconic watch is the “Polo” watch. Designed in 1979. It came in all price ranges from all gold to gold completely covered with diamonds, or in between with just a diamond face, or diamond bezel, or stripes of diamonds. Also a classic favorite is the “Dancer” collection which was launched in 1986.
